Olivia is from New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Performance. She attended medical school at Louisiana State University and is currently a neurosurgical resident at UNC Hospitals.
A musician since age five, Olivia’s formation has been deeply shaped by both performance and service. As a pianist, she has performed across the United States and internationally, including at Carnegie Hall. In New Orleans, she was grateful to serve in a variety of sacred music roles through the Tulane Catholic Music Ministry, St. Louis Cathedral, Notre Dame Seminary, and numerous other churches throughout the city. She has also sung with the New Orleans Opera and currently performs with the North Carolina Master Chorale.
Since moving to Chapel Hill in 2022, she has especially cherished the opportunity to direct the STM Youth Choir. Olivia hopes that through music, others may be reminded of their innate human dignity. Her goal is for the choir to lead the congregation deeper into the beauty of the Mass, where Christ is encountered and experienced as heaven on earth.
