Major Accomplishments
The Caring and Sharing Center provides a variety of clothing and household items free of charge to over 400 individuals or families every month.
Major Activity
Volunteers work in teams of two for two or three-hour shifts helping people find clothing and household goods that meet their needs. Some volunteers also come during hours that the Center is closed to sort donations and put them out for display.
Meeting Frequency
Volunteers are needed to help during the times the center is open (see Hours of Operation above). Individuals sign up for whatever shift best suits their needs. Scheduling is flexible and can be weekly, monthly or as available. A few times each year we have large-group volunteer meetings that are optional but attendance is highly encouraged.
Meeting Venue
The Caring and Sharing Center, which is located at the north end of the campus, near the St Thomas More School Gymnasium.
