Vocations are sown by God as the seeds of our future Church. Vocations start at home: in the fertile ground of family and local parish community. That's why the STM Vocations Ministry provides prayerful grassroots support at the parish level. We focus on connecting parishioners with vocations discernment and with current seminarians from or within the Diocese of Raleigh. Members maintain a 'Vocations Corner' near the Church entrance and update the display on a monthly basis. Sponsored events include an annual Adopt-a-Seminarian project and prayer opportunities such as Adoration/Holy Hour for Vocations and a Rosary Relay.
STM also has two separate ministries devoted specifically to praying for ordained priests: the Cenacles of the Marian Movement of Priests and the Seven Sisters Apostolate.
